From right, my Tía Mati, Tía Martha, and Tío Chema in the space between my grandmother's house and my mother's house. The three live in different parts of Panama City, but come to El Interior often to visit my grandmother. According to relatives, my Tía Mati and Tía Martha, along with my Tía Edilma, are practically never seen without each other.

Since I was a kid, I've always thought Tío Chema looked like Bruce Springsteen.
