Marie looks through her calendar as she makes another appointment for chemotherapy on March 23, 2007 at the Harold Leever Cancer Center in Waterbury. Since January 31, 2006, when Marie's doctor found a mass on her lung in an x-ray done to examine her arthritic shoulder, Marie's calendar has been rife with doctors' appointments.
